It is our deepest wish that through the work of the association ’Licht in Armenien’, and through the support of the projects presented, we can contribute a part to changing lives in Armenia. We hope and trust that we can also help to dismantle walls. Walls that people have erected.
It is our vision – that we should be able to experience how people are changed so that they can approach one another and build friendships where this seemed impossible before. -that walls also fall between people groups. Also such strong and powerful walls between the Armenian and the Turkish people. Can we also dream of peace and reconciliation even between Armenia and Azerbaijan?
We are aware that every little help is just “a drop on the hot stone”. But many drops can cool down a stone over time! But we are also aware that we all depend heavily on the help of God. That is why, in our statutes in Article 2, we refer to Christian-ethical values.
