Tax exemption
According to the decision of 5 July 2018 of the tax authority of the canton of Bern, the association Licht in Armenien is partially exempt from tax liability for charitable reasons.
In concrete terms, this means that some of the projects are classified as non-profit and therefore entitled to 100% tax deduction. Some of the projects were considered by the tax authority to be of cultic nature and donations to these projects are therefore not tax deductible.
